No need to play ♥♥♥♥♥♥, read what I said. Is this the same Nvidia that said here is a game ready driver? how much and how often the stutter can vary from game to game but will happen.ĪGAIN fast sync is only meant to be a used for high fps games like MOBAS and games like CS:GO. fast sync chooses a frame from a set of 3 frames in a buffer and if the framerate is low such as at 60 fps then there will be some stutter because of this implementation. ![]() ![]() Tom Petersen of Nvidia even said in a video that using fast sync at 60 fps would cause some problems and that regular vsync should be used. stick to commenting on youtube where most others are just as clueless as you are.ĮDIT: even on Nvidia's site it says "Fast Sync is designed to benefit games that are running with very fast native render rates (3 times or more the rate of the refresh on your monitor)." and I guess you missed the part where I said you were oblivious which is clearly the case. Used it without issue on my 980Ti before upgrading, again without any issues. No tearing, no stutter and no noticeable input lag. but hey why listen to the people that developed the technology when you can just turn it on willy nilly and ignorantly suggest others do it. so many ignorant fools just enable that setting at 60 fps and are too damn oblivious to even notice it cause some hitching. ![]() they made it pretty clear that it is not for playing around 60hz and that regular vsync is better in that case. Nvidia themselves make it clear that fast sync is only for games where you have an extremely high framerate. Originally posted by trek554:its amazing the level of ignorance of some people.
